Let’s get the stats out for the ΧΑΡΤΙΝΟΙ and how the6 were pushed to win the title both n and off the field.

Question 1

How many times this season did Koula’s opponents finish the match with a player sent off???
If you answered 9 times you were correct . Nearly 1/3 red of their whole league matches they had a man advantage over their opponents. Ofcourse the bullshit penalties and offside goals they scored are not included. We leave that for another time along with the number  of points their opponents were deducted .

Jimenez knew it was a fluke so he decides to cash out and leave.   Smart man.

That shonk tightass Melitsabidi tried to replace Araujo by signing a Dutch player from Ergotelis offering him 30,000 euro per year. LOL

It’s quite evident that the former smuggler is banking on last years formula for success whereby referees and tribunals win the matches for ooor Koula .

took care of a crap celtic team, and now videoton is the only barrier to that sweet CL money.

got to say they defended stoutly, oikonomou would have been damn solid for us, and livaja is a monster up top.

the media is thinking they are already through, im not so sure, they aren't at the level where the hungarian champion,as average as they may be, cannot upset them

Night and day difference in terms of possession and playstyle compared to Paok.

Aek will be our main competition for the title again. They seem to have picked up where they left off last season.

I disagree, I think BAOG are stronger than Koula . Koula’s “Success” of late has been due to favorable refereeing in their fav out and rival teams getting points docked.
Even against “ Vidi” whoever the guck they are in the CL knock out match they benefited from playing against 10 men.
Koula have NEVER a CL group match and never will. Whichever group they get drawn in they won’t win a game.

Koula had way more fluid ball movement then Paok. Paok has looked like a jumbled mess. Literally only have success on the counter. Aek has speed on the ball, can possess and maintain possession. This dictates a stronger team to me than Paok(who may have higher profile players).

I'm not disagreeing that they have had success due to favorable officiating, or the gift of point reductions, or less players on the field. I was making more of a gameplay comment.

I very much agree that I doubt they will get a positive result in CL play once the group stages start.

i think paok was better last year, and now that aek lost lazaros, i think paok is still better.

as for qualifying so far, because they lost the title paok has had one hell of a harder path.

Another display of fluid ball movement. High press and hold total control of this game. Giannina hardly crossed the midfield in the second half with the ball. If they maintain these performances I'm positive they will be much more difficult to manage during the season.

I still believe Aek will be a harder opponent for us than Paok.
